Social Community Rules

A. Sween Company and/or its affiliates (collectively, “E.A. Sween”) and its related products such as Deli Express® and Market Sandwich® are enthusiastic about the possibilities of communication and exchanges of information possible through social media, whether it’s our Facebook pages, blogs, or Instagram. We’re all about food, and food is all about fun—and social media can be very fun! That’s why we welcome and encourage open discussion on our social media sites.

Our promise to you is that we will do our best to monitor participation to make sure that people who post on our pages are courteous and avoid making offensive comments. E.A. Sween Co. is a family company, and we want our social media pages to be family-friendly. In other words: Keep it polite, keep it clean, and keep conversations civil.

As we keep an eye on the social conversation, E.A. Sween reserves the right to delete comments that do not fit the above criteria. We also reserve the right to block people who are repeat offenders. (We really hope it never comes to this.) Rather than deleting comments or blocking people, what we really want to do is have fun, and talk about food!

The opinions and/or views expressed by third parties (i.e., other than E.A. Sween) on E.A. Sween’s social media platforms and sites (‘Collectively, the “Social Media Sites”), including, but not limited to, our blogs, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages, represent the thoughts of individual bloggers and online communities, and not those necessarily of E.A. Sween or any of its corporate affiliates or any of their respective directors, officers, or employees. The opinions and views expressed on these pages by third parties do not in any way reflect the views of the Social Media Sites they are posted on, other sites affiliated with the site, the staff involved with maintaining the site or any members of the site.

While E.A. Sween makes reasonable efforts to monitor and/or moderate content posted on our Social Media Sites, we do not moderate all comments and cannot always respond in a timely manner to online requests for information.

E.A. Sween reserves the sole right to review, edit and/or delete any information, materials and/or comments it deems are inappropriate, including those items that:

  • Are harassing, libelous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene or are otherwise offensive or objectionable (in our sole judgment) or which may give rise to liability or violate any law;
